6 Million Known (6MK) is an advocacy project that combines art activism with Holocaust awareness. The mission of 6MK is to use art as a way not only to remember the Holocaust, but to get to “know” the faces and inspirational stories of those who survived.
Mia Kamensky is the founder of 6MK. She is an artist in New York. After meeting and hearing Holocaust survivors’ stories first-hand, she was inspired to create 6MK to share their inspirational stories with the world.
